What is Port Forwarding?

Generally speaking, Port Forwarding is connecting an outside network to your DVR server, that is located behind your router/firewall, which would normally block all traffic.

DVR Y series
Default Port are 80, 5050, 6050 and 7050.

DVR K series
Default Port are 80, 5920 and 5921

Software Capture Card
Default Port are 80, 1001, 1901

Unfortunately, there are thousands of routers on the market, and each router/firewall has different settings. There fore, we cannot list all router settings here. Please refer to your router's manufacturer user manual, and open the port number according to the above information.
